The reason I think the Guston show was postponed was due to the pandemic that lead to many delays in most events and I think that situation affected the Guston show as well. I am not sure why its been delayed all the way to 2024, but I think it has to do with scheduling because its hard to fit in certain events in due to other slots being taken. I think that the show should be postponed, but it should not be delayed for 4 years. I think the show should be postponed until 2022 at least then maybe a time slot for the museums event will open up and the scheduling should be perfect. The show being cancelled may bring disappointment to the audience who were waiting for this event to happen and the artist may be disappointed as well because he would've wanted to reveal his work to the public and now that its been delayed it might not happen for sometime. Its important to talk about a delay within the show of famous artists because people who want to see their work might not get the chance to and perhaps this might've been their only chance to it.
