Pelican

For this drawing of the pelican I used a little bit of aboriginal design to create this drawing. The representation of this drawing shows that the pelican is also an endangered species, but I wanted to take a different approach to the design of having the animals protected instead of showing any aspects of negativity. The lines represent the threat the animals faces and the X's with the purple circles around the X is meant to represent protection for the pelican so when the lines hit the X it bounces off the page as a symbol of a shield. Something that would not harm the animal any further and show a less threatening perspective.
