Manatee

I made this drawing of a manatee in aboriginal design to show how close the animal is to becoming extinct. The manatee is another endangered animal facing the threat of extinction. I started out the drawing by making the lines big, but as the lines become smaller they become thinner until they become nothing but a skeleton of the animal which is what the black lines represent. I used the combination of marker and colored pencils to create this as the blue squiggly lines going downward represent the manatees habitat underwater but the brown represents the ground seeping in slowly taking over by draining out or pushing away the water almost creating that fossilization effect to it.
