As i continue working on my projects focusing on endangered species of animals im coming up with new ideas to how I want to represent my work. In this painting i focused on the endangered species of gorillas and how the human action they mostly face as a threat is being hunted as gorillas are being shot and killed. I wanted to show this painting by showing guns cornering the gorilla anand make it the main reason the gorilla is fading away. The colors represent the meanings of the pictures in the painting as the orange represents the species of gorillas current status as being in the danger zone of becoming extinct, the red circles and the guns represent the threat the gorillas face seeing as guns are one of the many threats that harm endangered, and the green circles represent the gorillas habitat or something related to nature an element endangered species live in as the green dotted circles are becoming overpowered by the red as the red dotted circles start to slowly dominate the page. I made this painting to show awareness to what happens if continue down a path where we continue hurting and killing these animals because if we do not stop threatening these endangered species there will be severe consequences to this kind of action that puts these animals at risk of being erased from existence.
