I have not heard about paradise lost before nor about Philip Pullmans work, but I see that this article mostly focuses on Philip Pullmans experience as an artist struggling to interpret his artwork and how it should be presented. The article also describes the life of a man that goes by John Milton and his thoughts of the English civil war. How this article represents art is unknown to me, but I can guess that the sound that has been said multiple times in the article in an artist’s perspective is that sound would mean their visions of an artistic masterpiece. The tone of colors in art could also represent a state of sound to an artist and how they perceive it as art. I see this article being related to visual artistic work is through visual imagination of a picture and the story behind it that tells what inspired an artist to create his work. Another connection this article has on visual artistic work is through the qualities of visual art such as how sound is being compared to color tones and visual imagination of art and how it is represented as a picture.
